Design and construction supervision on behalf of ENEL SPA Centre for Thermal and Nuclear research of an intensive fish farming system of marine fish species.
This project comes from the opportunity to reuse part of the cooling water of the capacitors of the groups of energy production, in order to be able to breed in complete cycle marine fish species of commercial value in water at a constant and controlled temperature.
This facility was designed and built both for the hatchery department for the artificial reproduction and breeding of larval stages and research, and in the fattening areas in outdoors waterproofed tanks. The entire facility is equipped with liquid oxygen oxygenation system and continuous monitoring of water quality. It is capable of producing very high density population thanks to the large available water flow.
